The Devil is in the Details
MADD and police agencies are running the television ads again this Christmas season showing people being stopped after swerving, unable to respond, and opening the door as the booze poors out.
The truth is that the “evidence” used to try to convince people to plea to DWI is most often things like: inability to locate registration in a glove box, admission to two drinks and smell of alcohol, stepped off the line twice, and didn’t stand on one foot long enough.
